Cultures & climates differ all over the world, but people are the same. They'll gather in public if you give them a good place to do it. - Jan Gehl

Heritage Hall at Lost Creek Reserve
In 2016 the park district began looking at constructing permanent bathrooms. In 2017 a levy was passed and the district began preparing to make more than just a bathroom.
When the Park District envisioned Heritage Hall we wanted it to be more than just a building for the community. The purpose of the project was to create a space that combines rustic charm with modern technology where people could learn, celebrate and gather.
Exposed wooden timbers showcase the vaulted ceiling giving it a spacious feel while the high-speed internet and audiovisual equipment provide everything you need for a contemporary event. The 654 square foot front porch is a great place to get a breath of fresh air and offers a picturesque view of beautiful natural landscapes.
