We would like you to set up a test session with us before your first Nature LIVE! session so we can test links, visual, and audio within your classroom.
Natural Resources Program Overview
Each of these sessions, designed for first graders, will focus on either living or non-living resources. Students will come to realize that in their classrooms and homes everyday they use objects made from living resources such as trees, and non-living such as rocks. This series of two sessions will be offered individually.

Session 1: Non-living Resources
Nature LIVE! Session 1 Sign Up - Offered in October, February and March
DESCRIPTION: During this 20 minute online adventure, your naturalists will lead the session from one of our many Miami County Parks! Together with your class we will explore how a rock is important in our everyday lives. Do you need rocks? We will find out many of the resources we use every day that were actually rocks first. This session also has a tailored review quiz for your students and the first grade SCIENCE JOURNEY material will also support your standards.
