We would like you to set up a test session with us before your first Nature LIVE! session so we can test links, visual, and audio within your classroom.
Food Chain Program Overview
This is a series of three sessions offered individually. Each session will introduce different animal species, how they interact with their environments and what special traits they have for survival. Focusing on these adaptations, we will find where to place these animals within a food chain.

Session 1: Producing the Start of the Chain

DESCRIPTION: During this 20 minute online adventure, your naturalists will lead the session from one of our many Miami County Parks! This session will focus on the Sun and the Producers of the food chain. Without these integral links, our whole ecosystem falls apart. We will discuss the adaptations that plants have to survive in different habitats. There are many animals that are not at the top, they have survived by dealing with predators in many ways. But not all plant eaters are small insects. Come with us to explore the variety of links in this food chain and what makes them special.
