Eclipse Experience at Lost Creek Reserve

The Park District will be hosting the Eclipse Experience at Lost Creek Reserve, visitors will enjoy abundant open space for viewing, free eclipse glasses (while supplies last), entertainment, educational children’s craft, food trucks and fun.
 
$10/car parking fee, first come first served, park will close its gates when at capacity. Park opens at 8 a.m.

The Eclipse & Your Parks…

We are excited about the upcoming Eclipse! As you know we are in the path of totality and are expecting an influx of visitors to our area. Depending on your level of tolerance for traffic and crowds, we have the following recommendations…

Tolerance meter - Low Medium High

  • LOW – watch the eclipse from your home.
  • MODERATE – visit one of our parks close to home with the understanding that park gates will close when at capacity. All parks (except Lost Creek Reserve) are free of charge.
  • HIGH – we are holding the Eclipse Experience at Lost Creek Reserve. There will be free eclipse glasses (while supplies last), entertainment, educational children’s craft, food and fun. $10/car parking fee, park opens at 8 a.m. - first come first served, park will close its gates when at capacity.
