Charleston Falls Preserve

Join park district naturalist Sassafras Susan to discover the birds, plants and trees across the county, one park at a time. Stop by Garbry Big Woods Reserve and enjoy story time in the sunshine with the Troy-Miami County Bookmobile as we learn to "Build a Better World". The topic is “Birds & Their Houses”.  In addition to story time hang out with a park district naturalist for some fun activities. Make sure to bring your library card so you can check out books for summer reading!  All ages are welcome. If you are an expectant mother, mother, or caretaker of a tot ages 0 to five years, come to this program made especially for you!  Both Adults & Tots can socialize, play and exercise as they walk along the trails at Charleston Falls Preserve.  It’s never too early to get your child outside and connecting with nature.  Healthy Children…Inspired by Nature!  Be sure to dress for the weather.
