Park District lands are open to the public from 8 a.m. to sunset every day of the year unless otherwise posted. No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the parks.

The Healthy Lifestyle initiative is focused on developing increased opportunities for physical activity in Ohio and creating local community coalitions to develop programs, facilities and infrastructure to support a more active lifestyle. The first Healthy Lifestyle Summit, held in February 2007, kicked off a year of collaboration throughout Ohio to ultimately build a statewide physical activity plan to combat the obesity and sedentary lifestyle issues in Ohio.
